Leap in the Clouds

Leap in the Clouds! Use your Leap Motion to complete each level of balancing a ball on increasingly difficult levels and rolling it from the green flame to the red flame.

This game was created for the Leap Motion 3D Jam.

All the other jam entries are here:

How To Play

Using the leap motion controller, hold your hand out flat, palm down imitating the platform’s base.
Slowly rotate your hand to rotate the platform.
Pinch your index finger and thumb together to slow down the rotation of the platform. The more you pinch the less the platform will rotate.
Swipe down in the main menu to start playing!

Using the Leap Motion SDK is very easy to learn and implement.
Using their SDK you can access your ‘hands’ and obtain the direction of the hand. As the direction is a 3D vector (center is your palm, forward is down the middle finger, right is towards the pinky and up is out the back of your hand), you get a plane which you can map to each level’s base.

Using the PinchStrength you can multiply by your rotations to reduce the amount the platform rotates by.

I used unity and the Leap Motion to create the app.
